Mary Kathryn Aranda, born on September 28, 1945, was received into glory on December 21, 2009.

Born and raised in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Frances Esther (Mausteller) and John McAlister Copper.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, R. Rembert Aranda; daughter Olivia Kathryn Lima, son-in-law Paulo Lima and grandchildren Sophia and Gabriel (of Sioux Falls, SD); a sister, Betsy Hanzimanolis; three brothers: Jack, William, and Patrick Copper; and many other loving relatives and friends.


In the service: Drew Trotter (pastor), Debby Clowney (organization), Doris Vander Meulen (piano), Fiona Hughes (violin), Erick Birkett (vocal), Jeff Gayman (sound).

The family wishes to thank each of you for your presence today honoring Kathryn, and for the many acts of kindness shown during our time of need.

Kathryn's granddaughter Sophia adds, "I would especially like to thank Debby Clowney and Liz Pyle for bringing my Grandma closer to God." Our eternal gratitude to you…
